Consortium Benefits

Why Join a Consortium?

The Driver CPC Link have approval from the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) to operate as a Consortium. This provides Members with a cost effective method of delivering Driver CPC training using their experienced trainers, without the burden of course development, administration or application to the JAUPT for centre and course approval.

What are the benefits of being a Consortium member?

Cost savings

Consortium membership removes course development and JAUPT approval costs. Courses have to comply with the Driver CPC Periodic training syllabus therefore development costs can be high. Other expenses includes administration costs associated with database and training records. By being a member of The CPC Link these are reduced to an absolute minimum whilst ensuring compliance for both consortium members as well as individual drivers.

Instructor support and development

Instructors working for Consortium Members will be given training where required, have access to Instructor notes and all reference material associated with each approved course they are able to deliver. Instructors will also have access to annual continuous professional development material via e-learning as part of the Consortium Membership fee.

Quality assurance

The Consortium lead takes responsibility for compliance with requirements set by the JAUPT and the DSA. The CPC Link as the consortium lead, have robust systems and procedures in place which are automated within the e-commerce web site, guaranteeing compliance and peace of mind for all consortium members.

The CPC Link has a strong internet presence with powerful links to social media sites. It also has its own e-newsletter which, as a platform contains forthcoming course notifications and road transport updates.
Consortium Members can opt within the Membership package to have the CPC Link
e-newsletter sent to all delegates who have completed training with their centre. When Members book a course with The CPC Link they can include it on the Consortiums list of “Open Courses”. These will be advertised on the web site and our social media sites. Potential delegates can search by town on with the nearest training courses being displayed. Delegates will then be able to book and pay online.
